March 2025 Alumni Update

What I remember about March at Bucknell is the wind, cold and constant, the way it'd swirl around the stadium as we'd try to get through our early outdoor season practices, the jumpers, throwers, sprinters, hurdlers, vaulters, and middle distance runners trying to hold form; the way it'd swirl around those of us out on the roads, the distance runners on an Old Farmer's or an Extended Pheasant Ridge, trying to stay on our feet. As one of those distance runners, I remember feeling in March as if I was running into the wind no matter which direction I was headed. I also remember the entire month in black and white, as if our workouts and races occurred only in shades of gray.
